I am 22 years old. Unfortunately even though I am qualified as an electrician I am currently out of work. In my free
time (which I have far too much of) I enjoy going camping with friends, taking part in airsoft skirmishes (sort of like paintball,
but much more fun.) listening to music reading and playing computer games.
I used to be in the 3rd tonbridge (corpus christi) scouts. I went from beavers all the way up to being a senior
patrol leader with the troop leadership award, the second highest activity award and was the first person in the tonbridge
district to earn the martial arts proficiency badge.
I gained the orange belt at karate.
I also used to fly gliders. I was doing consistency checks before flying solo when the money ran out.
One of the gliders I learnt in. It is a K21 if you are interested. At the time they had 2 of this type. KCT and KDP.
I remember flying to canterbury with the chief instructor in one of those and searching for the cathedral, only to find
it was right underneath the wing tip.
Another time I remember doing a landing without instruments, I came in and landed fine. later a friend of mine who was
at the launch point at the time came over and said I had come in so low and fast that I sounded like a jet plane and
they could have read the serial number off the tyres.
